I’ve always been wanting to ask : what kind of God tells His people to harm other people’s well-being and peace?

I believe every religion is supposed to teach good things, and people who do bad things are just those who don’t understand their religion well or want to use religion to fulfill their personal egoistic purposes. 

But, if so… Why are the rightly-religious people not doing anything about those who do bad? Why do the rightly-religious people seem to just stay quiet and close their eyes? Aren’t there any?
